About The Project


The West Wharf was constructed and commissioned in 2000. It was built and designed to handle general and industrial cargo to support the growth of local industries and industrial commodity for international markets. Due to the port need to cater daily high traffic flow, therefore the authority has decided to upgrade and enlarge the port to serve more clients.


Location of Kemaman West Whaft, Terengganu


The project is about upgrading the port by using steel pipe piles as the foundation for the Kemaman West Wharf port. The repairing and upgrading of the platform involving 112 points of foundation.

Installation Information


Piling Machine

Crane Vibro was use during the installation because of the long pipe length of 34m to 38m. The installation also using proper guide-frame to ensure the pipes could be installed perpendicularly.
